Greg is a pioneer of invoice finance in Australia with more than 30 years’ experience in helping SMEs overcome their cash flow problems. Greg founded and was head of two of Australia’s major invoice finance businesses. For nearly 10 years he was on the international board of Bibby Financial Services and was CEO of the group’s Asian and Australasian businesses. Greg has twice been chairman of the debtor and Invoice Finance Association of Australia and New Zealand and is a past director of the Turnaround Management Association of Australia.
Greg has worked across numerous business sectors over the past 15 years as a consultant, structuring and implementing cash flow solutions for small and medium enterprises (SMEs). In 2003 he co-founded 180 Group, which had invoice finance as its core product, and helped the company become a leading diversified lender to the SME market in Australia. In 2015, he successfully divested his equity holding in 180 Group to ASX-listed FSA Group. Greg has held board positions on the Turnaround Management Association of Australia and the Debtor and Invoice Finance Association of Australia and New Zealand.

Matthew is one of Australia’s most experienced SME cash flow finance specialists. Over a career spanning 30 years he has worked for the Reserve Bank of Australia, as well as ORIX Australia and Bibby Financial Services, two leading global lenders who provide SMEs with short and long-term finance facilities. Matthew is well known for his ability to understand, and manage company cash flow issues, as well as financial distress in a business. He is also deeply experienced at providing clients with pre-insolvency and business turnaround advice.

Gary Green is a banking and cash flow finance veteran with more than 30 years’ finance experience providing SME clients with short and long-term debtor finance solutions. Gary, who is based in Perth, also has a bachelor of business and an MBA from the University of WA and most recently managed sales and operations for Scottish Pacific’s South Australia cash flow finance business. Prior to that he was the Australian sales director for Bibby Financial Services over a seven-year period. Gary has a tremendous understanding of SME’s cashflow needs and the establishment of invoice finance facilities.
Drew is an experienced cash flow finance industry professional who has worked for leading global financial service providers such as Mitsubishi Bank, Westpac and American Express. In recent years Drew has turned his attention to supporting Australian SMEs. Utilising his extensive knowledge and business acumen Drew has a proven record of working with business owners to realise the true potential of their businesses.

Chris Allchin is AIF’s senior manager of Victorian and Tasmanian operations. Based in Melbourne, Chris has 11 years’ experience in SME finance, most recently at FactorONE, where he was a business development manager for four and a half years, focusing on management of broker relationships and potential leads in Victoria. He has always enjoyed working with SMEs, especially businesses in distress, because there is a level of care and understanding that’s required, which is not as common as it should be in the debtor finance industry.
Business Development Manager – NSW / ACT
Aris Lockhart is based in Sydney and has a wealth of experience in providing cash flow finance to small businesses in the NSW market. Aris began his debtor finance career with ORIX Australia in 2001 and most recently Aris was a business development manager at Waddle. Prior to that he was a client relationship manager for Scottish Pacific with many years experience and understanding in meeting SMEs cashflow needs.

Michael has extensive experience both running his own businesses (namely multi-award winning Telstra Business Dealerships for 15 years), and also working with, and for, large Corporates in the Financial, Legal, and Accounting sectors. This has given him unique insights, and a great understanding, of the many challenges facing Small to Medium Enterprises. Most importantly, the need for the correct advice and assistance when helping manage their cashflow and working capital requirements. He has worked with many of Melbourne largest accounting firms, legal firms, valuers, and financiers, that include major banks and non-bank lenders.
