Australian Invoice Finance signals growth plans with two key appointments
Sydney – 14 August 2019 – Australian Invoice Finance (AIF), the rapidly growing challenger in the Australian cashflow finance sector, has boosted its sales team with key appointments in NSW and Victoria.
Since launching in August 2017, AIF now operates in all Australian states and has doubled its staff numbers. In the past financial year, it has achieved loan portfolio growth of 120%.
Experienced cashflow finance professional Aris Lockhart has been appointed as a business development manager for NSW to help drive sales growth across the state.
Mr Lockhart, who is based in Sydney, joins AIF from Waddle, where he was a business development manager. Prior to that he was a client relationship manager for Scottish Pacific. Mr Lockhart began his debtor finance career with ORIX Australia in 2001.
AIF has also appointed Michael Coates as a business development manager in Victoria. Mr Coates has extensive experience working with small and large corporates in the financial, legal, and accounting sectors as well as running his own Telstra business dealerships.
AIF managing director, Greg Charlwood, said he was thrilled to have Mr Lockhart and Mr Coates on board to boost AIF’s presence in two of its major markets.
“Aris has a wealth of experience in providing cashflow finance to small businesses in the NSW market, and Michael’s 15 years as a successful small business owner have given him a first-hand understanding of the challenges confronting SMEs. They will play central roles in our growth plans for the NSW and Victorian markets,” he said.
