The Rise of the Non-bank Lenders

The Rise of the Non-bank Lenders

This months Parramatta Discussion Group of the AIIP or Association of Independent Insolvency Practitioners was sponsored by Australian Invoice Finance. Matthew Erwin also presented at the discussion group talking about the changes in lending and the rise of non-bank lending in Australia. This rise includes the growth of invoice finance and factoring with more change to come as the finance sector grows. The rise in non-bank lending is positively impacting the housing and SME sectors currently and is on the back of changing housing prices, the bank credit squeeze, monetary policy changes and global influences on the Australian economy.

Matthew is pictured with the keynote presenter John Laird from Stonehaven Advisory and members of the AIIP discussion group from DVT Group and Condon Associates Group. Thank you to the AIIP Board for the opportunity to be involved with the fastest growing professional insolvency association in Australia.
